Jordi Domínguez

Venture Partner at Metrix. Jordi is a SaaS, fintech, insurtech and hardware CFO who works with scaleups from incorporation through Series B, and with the funds behind them. After a career in investment banking and fund management, he co-founded two fintechs as CEO and CFO, before moving into venture-side CFO work. He leads financial due diligence on prospective investments and M&A transactions, and takes on fractional or interim CFO mandates on the venture side. Client examples include Albion, Notion, ProFounders, and Cathay Innovation.

Alexandre Ferré

Partner at Metrix. Alexandre has spent over a decade in finance, working as CFO to SaaS, healthcare and life sciences, deep tech, and industrial companies, from incorporation through Series B and exit. He builds and leads the finance function of growing companies, from financial visibility and control through to investor readiness. He also leads companies through fundraising end to end, from raise strategy and materials to close, and conducts financial due diligence on both sides of the deal, across corporate M&A and venture. Ilya Vybiral

Leading the UK practice from London, where he helps founders and investors turn finance from a bottleneck into a strategic advantage. Ilya spent close to a decade at PIMCO, the $2tn asset manager, leading the institutional relationships behind $13bn of insurance and pension fund assets, before an MBA at IESE in Barcelona and Berkeley Haas in the Bay Area took him into venture. He is now the part-time CFO founders trust to steer them through investor readiness, fundraising and scaling. He also leads buy-side financial due diligence for funds like Notion, Octopus and Nauta - across deals worth over €150m in total - and invests as an angel, including as an early backer of Fluidstack. He is a CFA charterholder with a BSc in Economics and Philosophy from the LSE.

Maria Ciria

Partner at Metrix. The CFO services and deal advisory firm for VC-backed companies in SaaS, biotech, healthcare and life sciences, among others. Maria brings 15 years of experience in finance, from her start in audit at KPMG to senior finance roles at investor-backed groups such as Adevinta and Sommet Education, working alongside Blackstone and Eurazeo through acquisitions and M&A. Xavier Sansó

After a career at multinational companies, Xavier has spent a decade as CFO to European SaaS, healthcare, and deep tech companies, from incorporation through Series B and exit. Clients under his mandate have been acquired by AstraZeneca, Tencent, or Mercado Libre, and done M&A with SAP or Coinbase. For venture funds, he leads financial due diligence on prospective investments and acts as the finance function inside their portfolios. Jordi Pedrol

Jordi has over 25 years of experience in emerging technology companies, turning new technology startups into revenue-generating companies. Jordi began his career in the startup world in Silicon Valley in the late 1990s. He later returned to Spain and served as CFO of eDreams in the early 2000s and continued to work at various startups.

Jordi is a pioneer in the field of fractional CFO services in Spain, where he has been active for more than 15 years, working with top-tier companies and funds, from early stages through to successful exits.

Jordi has a degree in Economics from the UAB and a master’s in financial management from Carnegie Mellon University
